On Tuesday, February 15th, 2005, the 3P jury composed of :
Yann Arthus-Bertrand (President), Marcus Bleasdale (IPG), Christophe Calais (In Visu), Polo Garat (Odessa), Olivier Jobard (Sipa), Alain Keler, Pascal Maitre (Cosmos), Alain Mingam, Marie-Paule Nègre and Paolo Woods, voted to attribute 10 grants as follows :
- 14 000 € to Patrick Brown (Onasia Images) to continue his work on the exploitation of fauna in Asia.
- 14 000 € to Frédérique Jouval, (independant) for a project on polygamy in France and their home countries in Africa.
- 14 000 € to Mariella Furrer (Cosmos/THINK Pictures) to continue her work on sexually abused children in South Africa.
- 14 000 € to Johann Rousselot (L'oeil Public) to continue her work on sexually abused children in South Africa. project on the Evangelists in the world, specifically in the US, France, India...
- 14 000 € to Alessandro Scotti, (independant) to continue his work on narcotic trafficking around the world.
- 10 000 € to Collectif Argos (a collective of photographers) for a project on the climatic refugee populations
- 10 000 € to Jean-Gabriel Barthelemy (Sipa) for a project in the Northern - Pas de Calais region in France, that eventually will be classified World Heritage next September.
- 10 000 € to Sophia Evans (nbpictures) for work in the UK as a haven for immigrant populations and more specifically on the mixed populations in Hackney.
- 10 000 € to Guillaume Herbaut (L'oeil Public), for a project on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, martyr cities.
- 10 000 € to Ettore Malanca (indépendant) to continue his work on the Gypsies in Slovaquia.
These 10 projects were selected among the 182 submitted to 3P.
Thanks to all the donator-photographers as well as to the buyers of their pictures on eBay. The 120 000 € from the auction put 3P at the top of all the grants for photography in the world.
